Personal Growth
and
Development
Often, for many people, "growing up" is a completely unknown and wild territory.
For other people, "growing up" is just something distant that is difficult to reach.
At other times, however, some people discover within themselves the courage and audacity to start doing something about it.

What often happens is that by seeking stability we try to control the uncontrollable.
It is important to accept what cannot be changed and instead act on what is modifiable, inside and outside of us.
Life is by definition growth, change; we cannot grow without accepting change as an integral part of our lives and managing it as best we can.
For this reason, it is essential to promote change by supporting knowledge and self-awareness because an unrealistically positive or negative perception of ourselves can be a brake on growth.
Obviously, being afraid of change is completely normal, especially for people of habit, not predisposed to experiment with novelty. This can lead us to question what is that really 'scares' us. Do we think we are incapable? Do we have doubts? Are we afraid that relatives or friends will not accept us as we are? Are we undergoing changes that are not determined by us, but by other people or circumstances?
What do we really need?
Finding answers to these questions on our own is often difficult, and it can be helpful to consult a mental health professional.
Each of us possesses a wealth of resources.
This must first be recognized, and then accepted and valued, as each individual is already full of knowledge, skills and abilities. Accepting this assumption and becoming aware of it will allow us to know our strengths and weaknesses, to learn from our mistakes, to acquire and, consequently, develop or enhance personal resources. This will lead to better know ourselves, working on our limits and developing new strategies to better adapt to daily life.
This will allow the achievement or recovery of the ability to make decisions, deal with problems, and gain clarity about our goals and needs. You will be able to recognize, use, understand and consciously manage your (and others's) emotions. Anxiety will decrease and self-esteem will gradually increase, as well as the concrete chances of success.
Because the world we live in is constantly changing, as are our relationships with others, it is essential to be able to adapt and change, to be able to use our resilience, that is, to be able to adapt. In this sense, personal growth is seen as a path and not the destination.
In this way, you will have the possibility and opportunity to improve relentlessly every day.
